Bethany Observes Advent

How marvelous it is that we have the Advent Season to remind us how to patiently wait and watch for the One who we know is coming. – Pastor Burse

The Advent Season has always been a special one at Bethany, but this year it’s a bit different. Bethany Youth and Mrs. Ruth Neal have provided Bethany with a beautiful new Advent Wreath. Representatives of Youth Fellowship gathered at Generations Religious Gifts to look at the wreaths and other religious items. What a moving adventure for everyone!

Bethany is also the site of evening Vesper Services at 4:00. Traditional music, a choir concert, and jazz music will fill the sanctuary on December 5th, 12th, and 19th. The annual Christmas Eve service will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 24th.

This year, members also received an Advent Devotional Guide to use during the season of preparation, prayer, and reflection. Please join us for any of these services and take a visual tour and see the sights at Bethany.

May you be blessed and find peace this Holy Season.
