Bethany Elects Officers

In the midst of Black History Month, Bethany paused to elect, ordain, and install church officers.

Keith Early and Linnie Haynesworth will serve as elders; Cornelius Duff and Benjamin White were elected deacons; and Lenora Parham and Jeffrey Coulter were commissioned trustees.  All are members of the class of 2022.

Bethany now looks forward to the Lenten season and will host a Lenten worship service and meal on March 4.  The meal begins at 6:00 and worship at 7:00 pm.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Bethany Presbyterian Church enjoyed a very spirit-filled Advent and Christmas season. On December
15, Bethany held its first of two vesper services called “A Very Jazzy Christmas.” The following
week, December 22, the second vesper service was held featuring Columbus Urban Strings Orchestra
and included a community sing-a-long.
The church family also participated in the Angel Tree program which provides toys and other items
for children in need.

On behalf of our pastor, the Rev. Edward Lewis, Bethany wishes all a healthy and happy new year.

Grace to you and peace, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

To visitors, friends, members and supporters: a warm greeting is given to you! For anyone looking for a church home in the African-American tradition, we encourage you to consider making Bethany Presbyterian Church your choice.
